Veneer wrapped on three sides

Our slats are wrapped in real wood veneer on three sides, the front and both edges. Many panels on the market only veneer the front, which leaves raw MDF showing from the side. Wrapping three sides gives a cleaner, more finished wall from every angle, which matters in high-end interiors.

An engineered build.

Each panel combines an MDF core for a straight, stable face, a PET acoustic felt backing for sound absorption, and a real wood veneer finish for natural grain. The result looks good, lasts, and performs acoustically.

Acoustic performance

Slatix panels are made for performance as well as looks. With a Noise Reduction Coefficient of around 0.7, they cut echo and reverberation noticeably, which makes a room more comfortable to be in and easier to hear in. They suit boardrooms, offices, restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, home theatres, living rooms, reception areas, and hospitality interiors.

The slat wall look has taken off in South Africa, but most of it is imported, which means higher prices and long waits. We wanted to make a local product that matches the imported finish, adds the three-sided veneer detail, and is actually in stock when you need it.
